SOCIAL EVENTS 2026-2027

  • Present events within Westborough or nearby communities to strengthen the educational and social life of its members.
  • Offer a variety of monthly social events to members, some with a cost, supporting local businesses and organizations whenever possible.

September                      

Autumn Kickoff – Tuesday, Sept 22, 12 – 2 PM at Baystate Green, 10 Union Street

  • Bring your Chair, own Lunch, and watch or play lawn games. Welcome the new season together with your WWC friends! Dessert will be provided.

   Sign up (No Cost) at Sept 8, WWC General Meeting – NO Rain date.

         *If cancelled, due to weather, email will be sent by Sept 22, 10 AM.

Cooking Workshops – Friday, Oct 2 & 16, 1 – 3 PM, at 2 Members’ Homes

(Please sign up for only 1 Workshop.)

  • Learn new baking/cooking techniques in a fun and relaxed interactive setting.
  • Light snacks, and sample what we make! Eight people max, per group.

Around the World in a Glass – Thursday, Nov 5, 4 – 6 PM at Julio’s, 140 Turnpike Road

  • Enjoy a presentation and a tasting journey through different regions, Italy, France, Spain, Ireland, and California, with Apps/Treats.

Seasonal Swag Workshop – Wednesday, Dec 2, 10 – 12 PM at Harvey’s Farm Greenhouse,

  • Kick off your Holidays by enjoying seasonal treats, beverages, and create your own Seasonal Swag with Harvey’s greens and basic materials.

Return of the GAMES! – Thursday, Jan 21, 1 – 3 PM at Community Center, 1500 Union Street, 2nd Floor

  • Learn and play a variety of games, such as Left-Right-Center, Uno, Bunco, Trivia, in this fun get together.

  • Come bowl and enjoy pizza in this historic, old-school candlepin bowling alley.
